BAHAMAS AT HEART

 

Atlantis Resort in The Bahamas wanted to reestablish the brand’s relevance and purpose for a new generation of tourist looking for more than sun, sand and sea. Working on a shared mission with Atlantis leadership, resort staff, and the Bahamian community, the concept of “Bahamas At Heart” was born.  Atlantis would be given a cultural makeover as a more authentic destination, supporting the local economy, traditions and marine ecosystem.

As Creative Director of Blue Orchid - the agency in charge of social media content strategy and production - my task was to lead the team in translating the “Bahamas At Heart” vision to social, while connecting it to the on-property experience. The result was a flowing stream of award-winning content including “Tingum1” the lovable rogue Bahamian drone, interactive challenges with guests such as the “serious face” go-pro challenge and “Kool Aid” the Bahamian ambassador heading a passionate cast of staff-turned-stars.
